You Cannot Donate If You:
- Weight Less Than 110 lbs
- Are under 17 trs old
- Have had viral hepatitis after age 10 or ever had hepatitis B or C
- Have hemophilia
- Are pregnant
- Have had malaria in past 3 years or have visited an endemic area in last year
- Have had a body piercing, acupuncture or tattoo in last 12 months
- Have had MMR vaccine in last month
- Have had heart disease or heart problems or are currently taking heart medication
- Have ever received Etretinate (Tegison or Soriatane) for psoriasis
- Have had dental work or oral surgery within 72 hrs of donating
- Have had Accutane, oral Retin-A, proscar or propecia within last 30 days
- Have had a blood transfusion or tissue transplant in last 12 months
- Have had certain types of cancer
- Have sickle cell anemia
- Have chronic lung, liver or kidney disease
- Have taken antibiotics within last 24 hrs
- Have tuberculosis
- Are HIV + or have AIDS
- Are a civilian or military pilot flying within 1 week
- Will participate in major competitive sport in next 24 hours or strenuous activities in the next 12 hrs
