We all need a cautious respect of COBRA and HIPAA compliance – we will show how “tricky” COBRA and HIPAA compliance questions can be – actually a “test” of everyday situations. The most innocent answer can grow into liability situations. There is no such thing as a simple COBRA question! 3 hours of L&H /HR continuing education (applied for)

Cafeteria Plans and Health Flexible Spending Accounts – very popular employee benefit plans – lots of advantages of having these programs but, you must be sure your Plans are in compliance with the IRS rules. We will review some of the most common mistakes – specifically, grey areas in your Plan Document – grey areas are only solved by law suits! We will discuss the criteria and often missed Plan Document information. Even if you have someone else administering your 125 andFSA Plans, YOU still have the compliance liability for that Plan.  Come see how you can get more participation in your125 and FSA plans - We will discuss some of the best practices and how to survive an IRS audit.3 hours of L&H/HR continuing education (applied for)
